He obtained B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from University of Ibadan and PGDE, MBA from University of Benin.  He is a COMEG Registered Geoscientist with areas of specialization in Hydrogeology, Hydrogeochemistry, Applied Geophysics and Environmental geology. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geology, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. He is involved in research and training of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Apart from one publication in Conference Proceedings, He has to his credit 49 publications in reputable National and International Journals. His research focus includes; Hydrogeology/Engineering geology and Environmental geology. The hydrogeolgy aspect deals with evaluation of water with respect to occurrence, distribution, hydraulic characterization and chemistry/quality of water. Site investigation, groundwater exploration as well as effects of climate change on man and environment are other areas of research interest. The impacts of anthropogenic activities, modifying the natural geological and hydrogeological regimes including surface (water) drainage networks are also being investigated.
